Efforts to increase beef cattle population with artificial insemination application in North Sulawesi, Indonesia

The increasing population has a direct impact on the demand for animal food in form of beef. problem faced by beef cattle farmers North Sulawesi province is low production and productivity. This study was aimed to determine increase Province with (AI) application. took place 12 regencies/cities that carry out SIWAB programs Province, namely: Manado, Bitung, Tomohon, Kotamobagu, Minahasa, South Southeast Bolaang Mongondow, Mongondow East Mogondow. case using descriptive methods. Online data tracking techniques stages from inseminator field, district, provincial officers. Data analysis consists S/C, CvR, CR. observations showed number ib application achievements 13682 acceptors, orchards reached 11140 parents birth rate 8138 heads S/C value 1.22, CvR 73%, CR 81.4%. Conclusion success artificial insemination people’s farms can be measured S / C 81.4%, as much heads.
